It is characterised by an important working capacity; in fact, it can process compost heaps of 2500mm in width and 1200mm in height.
The RIVO280 features a sturdy steel frame, allowing for a maximum working width of 2800mm and a height of 1400mm. At the core of the machine is a rotor with a diameter of 780mm, equipped with 48 blades that facilitate the mixing of compost windrows.
The RIVO280 is available in a tractor PTO version, requiring a recommended power of 80–100hp, and a self-propelled tracked version with an independent diesel engine.
For the self-propelled version, various engine options are available, ranging from 55 to 75hp, all compliant with the most stringent emissions regulations.
Both versions are equipped with a 1000-liter water tank and nozzles positioned above the rotor, enabling the material to be moistened during processing to improve the quality of the final compost.
Additionally, the diesel-powered version of the RIVO280 comes with an operator seat and an independent hydraulic system with a cooling radiator. Alternatively, customers can opt for a closed cabin with a seat for greater operator comfort and protection.
