BIO 350

The BIO350 is a professional bio-shredder from the Caravaggi range, designed with a large feed opening that allows chipping of material up to 170mm in diameter.

The BIO350 is also equipped with a steel infeed chain that assists the operator during the feeding process. All motorized versions of the BIO350 are powered by engines that comply with the strictest emission standards (IE4 – Stage V).

In addition to petrol, electric, and diesel versions, the BIO350 bio-shredder is also available in a tractor PTO version, for which a tractor with 40–70hp is recommended to fully utilize the bio-shredder’s capabilities.

Standard equipment of the BIO350 bio-shredder includes:

• Rotor with 40 floating hammers
• Feed roller speed control system to adjust wood chip size
• Agricultural chassis without brakes
• Steel infeed chain
• Refining screen
• Blower up to 2.2m

The BIO350 bio-shredder can also be equipped with the electronic control system NO-STRESS, which prevents engine overload, as well as with a homologated high-speed chassis.

As an alternative, the BIO350 can be supplied with a tracked undercarriage, operated via wire or remote control. Regarding the cutting system, as an alternative to the standard rotor with 40 floating hammers, the BIO350 can be equipped with a mixed rotor with 6 blades and 24 hammers.

An additional optional feature available for the BIO350 is the rubber discharge conveyor, which allows the processing of high-moisture materials without clogging the discharge system.
