BIO 230
Bio-shreddersThe BIO230 model is a disc chipper from the Caravaggi range.
It features a mixed cutting system consisting of a chipping disc with 3 blades and 24 hammers that further chop the material and it is capable of chipping material up to 130mm in diameter.
The BIO230 can be equipped with various HONDA petrol engines:
- HONDA GX390 11.5hp engine with electric start
HONDA GX630 20hp engine with electric start
In addition to the petrol versions, the BIO230 is also available in a tractor PTO version (recommended tractor power: 20–50hp to fully utilize its potential) and with a 15 kW three-phase electric motor. For tractors with lower power, a version centrifugal clutch is available.
The BIO230 chipper comes with the following standard equipment:
- Chipping disc with 3 reversible blades + 24 hammers
- Hydraulic feeding roller
- 4-wheel manual chassis with drawbar
The BIO230 model can also be equipped with a refining screen to achieve a more homogeneous output material.
As an alternative, the BIO230 chipper can be supplied with an agricultural chassis without brakes, a homologated high-speed chassis or a tracked undercarriage.
