The BIO235 model is a disc chipper from the Caravaggi range. It features a mixed cutting system consisting of a chipping disc with 3 blades and 24 hammers that further chop the material. It is capable of chipping material up to 150mm in diameter.
The BIO235 can be equipped with various HONDA petrol engines:
- HONDA GX630 20hp
- HONDA GX690 22hp
- HONDA iGX800 25hp
In addition to the petrol versions, the BIO235 chipper is also available in a tractor PTO version (recommended tractor power: 40hp to fully exploit its potential), with an 18 kW three-phase electric motor or with a 25hp Stage V diesel engine.
The standard equipment of the BIO235 includes:
- Chipping disc with 3 reversible blades + 24 hammers
- Hydraulic feeding roller
- Agricultural chassis with drawbar
- Opening for rotor access
The BIO235 model can also be equipped with a refining screen, allowing for a more homogeneous output material.
As alternatives, the BIO235 chipper can be supplied with a homologated high-speed chassis or a tracked undercarriage.
Additionally, the BIO235 can be equipped with a steel loading belt, which is useful for conveying the material in the loading hopper to the feeder roller.
